Liven Up The Party With Baby Shower Games!

Everyone is sitting quietly, there are lulls in the conversations, and people are staring off into space; that's right - your baby shower needs rescuing. What better way to liven up the party than by playing baby shower games!
There are so many different baby shower game ideas that you could go for days if you wanted to! Try the nursery rhyme game, where you write down lines from nursery rhymes then have your guests try to guess the title of that nursery rhyme. Or Baby Bingo, where you make a 3x3 square bingo card on a sheet of paper and mark the middle square with a baby sticker or drawing as the free spot. Then have your guests fill in the remaining 8 squares with the names of the baby items they think the mom-to-be will be receiving. As the gifts are opened, the guests cross off each gift they guessed correctly until they have made a straight or diagonal line and yell "Baby Bingo" to win the game.
Some other fun baby shower games are: the dirty diaper game, where the lucky winner is the one with the "dirty" diaper (a cloth napkin for a diaper and a chocolate kiss is the "dirty"), the candy bar game, where you melt different chocolate bars into disposable diapers and blindfolded guests have to sniff the "poopy" and figure out what kind of candy bar it is (take pictures please!), and baby word games like Baby Anagrams or ABC's.
Be creative and make up your own unique baby shower games. Make them as easy or as difficult as you like, but remember that an easy game may be easier to get everyone into. If you don't have the time or inclination to come up with your own games then look online to find some printable baby shower games. In fact, you may even be able to find some free printable baby shower games. Of course, any of these baby shower games can be played co-ed or by couples.
Don't forget to have some prizes available for the skilled guests who win the baby shower games they play. Candles, baby bottles filled with candy, or gourmet coffees are some good ideas. Just about anything you can think of that you might enjoy would probably make a good baby shower prize.
