Baby Shower Poems Can Be Sentimental Or Funny!
|
Baby shower poems are fun to use for baby shower invitations, at the baby shower, and for baby shower thank you cards. They can be sentimental or joke baby poems, and can either show appreciation or entertain. Baby poems and rhymes are fun and make baby showers special for all involved.
Baby shower invitation poems are a nice way to show some sentiment in an invitation; poems can also add a personal touch to invitations. You can find free baby shower poems on the internet, and also in maternity and baby magazines and books. Basically, you could even make your own baby shower invitations; just get a poem (or a few poems) that you like and print up your own invitations at home. Buy some nice paper and envelopes at a card shop, and even put special baby themed stickers on the back of the envelope to seal it. If you're creatively inclined, you could even write your own baby poetry. Baby showers are usually held by someone close to the mom-to-be, and should be sentimental and personal!
You can also use poetry as part of the baby shower; if you're making personal baby shower baskets or goodie bags, or putting individual baby shower favors on the table, include a poem in them. You could have some baby shower wishing well poems too, which could be read out during the gift opening (this would also be a nice addition to a present as well). Some funny baby shower poems are nice to read out too; look online for some of these, or make up your own - you could even ask everyone coming to the shower to bring a poem to read.
Baby shower poems are also nice for the mom-to-be to have after the shower for her baby scrapbook. Scrap-booking baby poems for her is a nice thing to do later; include pictures of the baby shower, a sample invitation, and anything else that you can flatten and glue into a scrapbook.
Baby shower thank you cards for your guests can be made at home too - just print up some heavier card stock at home - including a thank you baby shower poem, and a personal note for the gift that was given. Put in a photo of the shower as well, for a keepsake.
